Big Boi Announces Summer Tour Dates

Big Boi announces almost 50 dates for a two month tour coming up in May.

Big Boi has just announced his summer tour dates. The Outkast man is returning from a touring hiatus of more than two years and he will have a busy summer, playing 45 shows in just about 2 months. He will be accompanied by fellow Atlanta rapper Killer Mike who will not only open for Big Boi, but will also join him on stage for the some of the main set.  Big Boi has also said that other collaborators, like Kid Cudi and T.I. could join him on stage, “depending on who is in the vicinity.”

After releasing Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors in December, Big Boi has been doing the late night talk show rotation. But now, he is ready to hit the road and reconnect with his audience. He told Rolling Stone, “To play your music in front of the fans that love it, it’s like the best feeling in the world.”

His fans will certainly be excited to hear this news, I already have the 5/24 date in Austin circled on my calendar. The tour will cover over 19,000 miles.
