Snoop Dogg has made the transition from Dogg to Lion, but now he is to be portrayed as a Kung Fu Master as well. Snoop Dogg has created a new video game called “Way of the Dogg” which will be a combination of musical rhythm and fighting all wrapped up in one game – everything and more that you never knew you wanted!
In a press release, Snoop announced,
“Way of the Dogg is the first true gamification of my music. This game shows how we evolve as individuals and [Echo Peak has] incorporated the journey of my own personal reincarnation as Snoop Lion into my character, the environments and the path that players have to follow.
Everyone knows that Snoop is down with the biggest and best video games whether it’s droppin’ my hits on the soundtrack or showing the world I can go toe-to-toe with the best fighters on the street.”
Snoop has teamed up with game studios Echo Park and 505 Games in order to make this project a reality. The game is expected to be released on April 23rd for Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, iOS, and Android. Echo Park’s Ciaran Walsh spoke about the partnership, “The idea of creating an original game concept around Snoop’s music and love of Seventies kung-fu and blaxploitation movies was a mouthwatering prospect.”
